What to send with an enquiry

The more of the following we have at the start, the fewer questions come back and the sooner you get a firm proposal.

Hydraulic data

Static and dynamic head, maximum and minimum flow, medium and its temperature, water quality where relevant.

Valve data

Nominal size and pressure rating, face-to-face dimension, connection type, required closing time and operating regime.

Actuation and control

Hydraulic or electric, available power supply, signals to the plant control system, emergency closing requirement.

Standards

Design and testing standards to be applied, inspection body if any, required certificates and documentation language.

Existing installation

For replacements: drawings if available, photographs, connecting dimensions and the planned outage window.

Commercial

Quantity, delivery term, delivery clause (Incoterms), and whether installation supervision and commissioning are in scope.
